NO outside food or drinks are allowed. Coolers are NOT acceptable. Alcohol is prohibited on the property unless purchased from our food vendors inside the park.
NO tailgating (eating & drinking) is allowed in our parking lots. We do not allow alcohol in the parking lots, even if purchased inside the park.
NO we are not pet friendly. Yes we do allow service animals.
The depth of the cable wakeboarding lake is anywhere from 5-7 feet. The depth of the AQUA PARK lake ranges from 6-10 feet. The swimming area depth ranges from 0-5 feet.
Life jackets are provided for the activities we administer, including: AQUA PARK, cable wakeboarding, paddle boarding, and all other activities on the water as well as our swimming beach. The only exception is for Wakeboarding, if you are using your own wakeboard but do not have a helmet and/or Coast Guard Approved lifejacket, then you will have to rent our lifejacket & helmet package for $10.
Yes, everything except for our wakeboarding passes (this activity does not sell out) and Chill Passes can be purchased online. However, bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Yes, we offer group discounts for groups of 10 or more people. We recommend that groups of 30 or more people email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information on groups, please checkout our Group Events page .
Yes parking is free!
NO it does not cost to enter! We welcome anyone to come check out all of our activities and if you see anything you want to do, then you come back and pay. We have a free beach area by our wakeboarding area but no swimming is allowed. Our swimming beach has a fee of $10 to enter unless the individual is under 48″, then they’re free. If you purchase an activity at the park then the swimming area is free!
You may bring in small floaties for our swimming area however we do not provide a pump to blow them up with. You are not allowed to bring your own paddle board or Kayak into the park.
Children under the age of 12 may not be left at the park if not accompanied by someone 16 or older at all times.. We also offer a spectacular summer camp for children ages 7-15!
Yes you are more than welcome to bring your own lawn chairs, umbrellas and small tables. We offer picnic benches on patio area that are first come first serve but not in the swimming beach area.
Yes, our Island Grill has all sorts of great food such as burgers, fries, salads, rice bowls, pizza, and plenty of desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth.
NO we do not allow selfie sticks on the AQUA PARK because of the danger of injuring other people as well as possibly popping the inflatables. You may bring your GOPROs on the AQUA PARK but if they fall into the water no one is allowed to dive under and retrieve it. You will be bringing them on at your own risk!
We are open rain or shine, however if we see lightening in the area or wind warnings we are liable to close.
We have lockers for rent inside the park. There is a $10 fee, however, you receive $5 back when you return the before you leave for the day. We do allow you to exit and re-enter throughout your stay here at Wake Island.
We DO NOT allow tobacco products of any kind inside the park. You are welcome to smoke in the parking lot at least 25 ft. away from the building.
For children under 48″ we have a swimming area and sandy beach for them play on. Children MUST always be accompanied by an adult! As well, children under 48″ may accompany an ADULT on a stand up paddleboard (one child per board).
Cable wakeboarding: 7,8, & 9 year olds must start with a lesson on the beginner cable or take a wakeboarding test before they can use the main wakeboarding cable park. AQUA PARK/Zip Line/Water Rollers/Stand Up Paddleboards/corls: participants must be at least 48″ or taller, there is no age requirement.
There are multiple hotels in Roseville, Natomas, and downtown Sacramento, that are no more then 15 minutes away.
We do not have onsite camp grounds but people tend to camp at the KOA campgrounds in West Sacramento because it’s only 15 minutes from us and close to downtown!
Our opening date for the cable wakeboarding park is in early April and the opening date for our AQUA PARK is May 6th 2017. For all of our other activities, please check the website calendar for the most up-to-date opening information. We close the AQUA PARK the end of September and the cable wake boarding will close at the end of October.
If you book a group of 10 or more on the AQUA PARK, please get here at least 30minutes before your session (1hr recommended). Once everyone has arrived, send one representative to the side door next to the FUN LAKE registration windows and let us know what group your booking was made under. We will then send someone out to collect waiver and put on your wristbands.
We DO NOT accept American Express or take checks but we do accept every other major credit card company and cash.
There are NO refunds offered at our park.
We have electronic gift certificates that you can purchase from our website and are emailed to you or the person you are purchasing them for.
You do not have to be present with your child on any of the activities unless they are under 48″.
We keep a lost and found basket behind our front desk for a short period of time and if you provide a detailed description of the item we will return it to you. Any item lost in the water will not be retrieved.

We have a separate area for wakeboarding birthday parties ONLY that are booked through our website. We do allow desserts for birthday parties that can be stored in our fridge or freezer in the pro shop. We DO NOT allow any party favors of any kind or coolers to be brought into the park.
No you cannot reserve tables. The tables we provide for our cable wakeboarding viewing patio are first come first serve and tend to fill up mid-day.
Yes we are. We eliminate the danger of glass on our grounds by not allowing any outside food or drink inside the park.
You are more than welcome to bring your own gear, however, we do have beginner boards with slip on bindings that are included with your pass as well as a lifejacket and a helmet – you cannot use these boards to hit any feature. If needed, we also have boards that you can rent that are used to hit the features inside the lake but we highly suggest starting out with a beginner board if you’ve never wakeboarded before.
You can bring your own life vest as long as it is US Coast Guard Approved.
