NO outside food or drinks are allowed. Coolers are NOT acceptable. Alcohol is prohibited on the property unless purchased from our food vendors inside the park.

NO tailgating (eating & drinking) is allowed in our parking lots. We do not allow alcohol in the parking lots, even if purchased inside the park.

NO we are not pet friendly. Yes we do allow service animals.

The depth of the cable wakeboarding lake is anywhere from 5-7 feet. The depth of the AQUA PARK lake ranges from 6-12 feet. The swimming area depth ranges from 0-5 feet.

Life jackets are provided for our activities, including including but not limited to: AQUA PARK, cable wakeboarding, Hamster Wheels, swimming beaches, paddle boarding, and all other activities on the water as well as our swimming beach. The only exception is for Wakeboarding, if you are using your own wakeboard but do not have a helmet and/or Coast Guard Approved lifejacket, then you will have to rent our lifejacket & helmet package for $10.

Yes parking is free and we do offer in and out privileges on a limited basis. We do not allow tailgating or group gathering in our monitored parking lot.

NO it does not cost to enter but we do require advanced online bookings! We welcome anyone to come check out all of our activities or just hang out while others in your group are doing the activities. We have a free beach area by our wakeboarding park but no swimming is allowed there. Our Standard Beach is FREE when you purchase an activity and our VIP Beach is accessed by purchasing a cabana, we do not sell passes to either beach a-la-carte.  If a child is under 48" tall, then they're free on our beaches as long as they are accompanied at all times by an adult with an access band.

You may bring in small floaties for our swimming area however we do not provide a pump to blow them up with. You are not allowed to bring your own paddleboard or Kayak into the park.

Children under the age of 12 may not be left at the park if not accompanied by someone 16 or older at all times. We also offer a spectacular Kids Summer Camp that you can find in our Groups & Parties section on our website.

Yes you are more than welcome to bring your own lawn chairs, umbrellas and small tables to our Standard Beach area. We offer picnic benches on our patio area that are first come first serve but not in the standard beach area. Small and Large cabanas are available for rent in our VIP Beach area.

Yes, our Island Grill has all sorts of great food such as burgers, fries, salads, pizza, and plenty of desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth.

NO we do not allow selfie sticks on the AQUA PARK because of the danger of injuring other people as well as possibly popping the inflatables. You may bring your GOPROs on the AQUA PARK but if they fall into the water no one is allowed to dive under and retrieve it. You will be bringing it on at your own risk!

We are open rain or shine, however if we see lightening in the area or wind warnings we may be required to close temporarily or for the entire day.

We have lockers for rent inside the park. There is a $10 fee, however, you receive $5 back when you return the before you leave for the day. We do allow you to exit and re-enter throughout your stay here at Wake Island, just not in groups.

We DO NOT allow tobacco products of any kind at the park, we are smoke free facility.

Cable wakeboarding: 7,8, & 9 year olds must start with a lesson on the beginner cable or attend Kids Camp before they can use the main wakeboarding cable park. AQUA PARK/Zip Line/Water Rollers/Stand Up Paddleboards/corls: participants must be at least 48" or taller, there is no age requirement. Zip Line participants must be at least 30lbs and a maximum of 200lbs.

There are multiple hotels in Roseville, Natomas, and downtown Sacramento that are no more then 15 minutes away.

We do not have onsite camp grounds but people tend to camp at the KOA campgrounds in West Sacramento because it's only 15 minutes from us and close to downtown!

Please refer to our calendar of activities for updated opening dates and hours. However, in general Wakeboarding tends to open in Mid April and close the end of October. All other activities open in late May and close in early September.

Guests (including birthday parties) who cancel a reservation 7 or more days in advance may:
Reschedule the reservation for a future date
Receive a full-value gift card that can be applied to a future visit, OR
Receive a full monetary refund less a $15 cancelation fee.
Cancellations are not confirmed until you receive a cancellation email.

Guests (including birthday parties) who cancel a reservation less than 7 days in advance may:
Email Wake Island Waterpark at info@wakeislandwaterpark.com or call 916-655-3900 to reschedule or receive a full-value gift card for use on a future date.

Adjustments to your booking must be completed at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled activity start time.
NO monetary refunds are provided for cancellations made less than 7 days in advance of a booked activity.

Cancellations are not confirmed until you receive a cancellation email.

Guests who arrive late (after their check-in time) or fail to show at the time of their booking will NOT be issued refunds.
Rescheduling will be accommodated day-of for late arrivals only if space permits.
No Shows will not be eligible for refunds, rescheduling, or future credits.

Please do not make a booking unless you are 100% sure you are coming. (Members that do not show up for any booking will be charged for that time at the standard rates and will forfeit future membership privileges)

We do not sell gift certificates online but do have physical gift certificate we can sell you at the park. You must arrange with us via email in advance of your arrival at least 24hrs to purchase gift certificate.

You do not have to be present with your child on any of the activities unless they are under 48".

We keep a lost and found basket behind our front desk for a very short period of time and if you provide a detailed description of the item we will return it to you. Any item lost in the water will not be retrieved.

No you cannot reserve picnic tables. The tables we provide for our cable wakeboarding viewing patio are first come first serve and tend to fill up mid-day. We do offer the ability to book cabanas though.

Yes we are. We eliminate the danger of glass on our grounds by not allowing any outside food or drink inside the park.

You can bring your own life vest as long as it is US Coast Guard Approved.

We have a two swimming areas and sandy beaches for them play on. Children MUST always be accompanied by an adult! As well, children under 48" may accompany an ADULT on a stand up paddleboard (one child per board).
